Driver’s responsibility

All drivers must be between the age of 18 to 71.

All drivers must have experience with the current road rules. Our staff are permitted to cancel bookings if the driver seems unable to safely drive the buggy.

All drivers must have a valid Driver’s License. Depending on your nationality and the location you might also need an International Driver’s License / document. It is your own responsibility that you have these documents in good order and make sure they are still valid!

All buggies must be locked and the keys stored in a secure location when not in use.

Park your buggy in designated car parking areas only. A small fee may incurred. Make sure not to park your buggy at private properties without permission of its owners.

Customers are responsible to ensure that every member of their group has proper travel documents as regulated by the local government.

All clients are strongly recommended to obtain appropriate travel and medical insurances. Getting travel insurance which covers any potential disadvantages during your holiday including illness, injury, death, 3rd party damage and cancellations is advisable.
Buggies

All buggies are supplied with a full batteries upon delivery, and should be returned with a full batteries at the end oh hire. In any case the Buggy can not be moved at the end of you hire due to flat batteries additional transport charges plus a handling fee will be incurred by the renter.

If at any time during your rental period there is an issue with your buggy that is not related to a flat battery or misconduct, we will have the right rectify the issue within 24 hrs, or at our discretion you will have the option to switch to another similar buggy , if stock is available. In the event there are no available replacements or we can not rectify the problem you will be refunded with the remaining balance of you payment.

Buggies must be returned on time. Late return may result in additional hiring costs, so please keep to the agreed return time or notify us 48 hours prior if you wish to extend your rental period. If you want to extend your rental period the easiest way to do this is to inform us by reaching out through WhatsApp or through the contact us link on our website.

We work extremely hard to ensure that our buggies are in excellent condition. As such our buggies are strictly for private road use only and are not to be taken off road or onto beaches.

We are not liable to refund any losses caused by improper documentation and any other travel related problems including but not limited to cancelled or delayed flights.

The type of buggy you reserved might not be available due to unforeseen circumstances. If this is the case we may at our discretion provide a similar or upgraded buggy at no additional cost.

Our staff are not allowed to provide any other services than listed on our website and brochure. All bookings and extensions must be completed via our website and no cash payments will be accepted.

Our terms and Conditions must be agreed to before any hire may commence.

We will not entertain any complaints raised after client’s departure.

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligation caused by issues beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to act of God, power failure, fire, flood, epidemic disease, war, riot, and terrorism.
Delivery and collection

If we offer a delivery or collection service at your rental location, delivery and pickup times are indicative. We try to be as punctual as we can, but in busy touristic areas logistics can be a challenge.

If you decide to leave your buggy at your accommodation for collection without you being present, take 5 pictures of the buggy: front side, left side, right side, rear and interior. Always leave the keys with the receptionist/duty manager and inform us which of the hotel staff has accepted your keys. It is under no circumstance allowed to leave the buggy behind in areas without supervision.
Payments, security deposit, Excess / own risk

We do not accept cash payments and we will never ask you to hold your passport in escrow. We accept payments through providers such as MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Paypal on our website.

Our prices are subject to change. Our website always shows the latest available prices. Once you made and paid for a booking the price is confirmed.

Your check box on the rental agreement page shall constitute authority for us to debit the final total charges against your account and your specific card-issuing organisation.

We require 100% of rental fee to be paid before the rental starts. The sum must be paid in full before pickup/arrival date.

Rental rates are calculated on the 24 hour clock.

We reserve the right to hold a deposit on your credit card as for any damages that may occur to the buggy during your rental.

We may ask you to present your credit card used for the online booking and your passport for verification purposes at the time of the hand-over.

In certain cases we may request a security deposit at our discretion.

We provide our buggies for rental in good faith. In return we ask our customers to treat our buggies and accessories with respect.

Reservations may be altered up to 7 days prior to the booking without charge.

All prices stated on our websites and quoted by our customer care team are in AUD and charged as such, unless confirmed otherwise. We do accept some other currencies such as Euro, Pound Sterling, Singapore Dollar, US Dollar, New Zealand Dollar Indonesian Rupiah, Malaysian Ringgit and Russian Rubble. The prices we quote in these other currencies are converted from AUD on a daily basis.

For Payments in Russian Rubble trough QR code and MIR we charge an additional 10% to cover our transaction fees.
Damages & charges

Customer Care must be notified immediately of any accidents. We can potentially help you with all reports. Please do note it is illegal to drive whilst under the influence of Alcohol, underaged, or not in possession of a valid driving license. To be clear, if you have an accident we require you to contact us immediately, not the next day.

In the event of an accident, full damage deposit will be taken from your credit card until repair estimates are received.

Where an accident occurs after which our Buggy is deemed to be unroadworthy and which is the fault of the client, the rental contract is immediately terminated with no refund. Clients will be notified by email or WhatsApp of cost of repairs. The total repair cost will be automatically debited from your Debit / Credit Card. In the event transactions are unsuccessful, full legal representation will be employed to recover all cost and associated fees and charges will be added to the final account.

We are not liable to damage, loss, injury, and death sustained by the hirers driving the buggies or there passengers and all other people involved in the event of an accident or misfortune.

Hirers are responsible for tire damages.

We will not be held liable for any damage or loss to any personal property or body.
Bali Buggy
The following additional terms and conditions apply when renting from Bali Buggy.

Buggies are not allowed to be taken off the main island of Bali.
-
Any fines issued by the Bali police, or fines we receive from the ATSD system which detects speeding, red light crossing and illegal behaviour for the buggies plate number and rental period will be cross charged to the customer we have on file for these dates. In such case photo evidence will be provided.

We deliver and collect for additional charges all over Bali, provided that the booking is for a minimum of 1 rental days. Please see the booking form for associated fees and charges.

In the event you misplace the key we have to charge you $80. This is unfortunately very high, but our buggy will be out of service for more than a week and we have to pay all associated charges.

In the event you are approached by the police we suggest you be polite and explain the emotor policy that allows e-vehicles the right to use common motorways in Bali. The Bali police may not know all e-vehicle policies and can often try to fine you on the spot during roadblocks. In most case its easier and more convenient to pay the suggested fine than contest the issues in a court.

If any accessories are stolen, lost or damaged during rental the retail value will be charged on your credit card.

If you go to a restaurant, bar or club and you consume alcohol, we suggest you do not drive. If you leave the buggy, contact Customer Care to locate and bring the bike back to your villa or hotel. Charges are applicable and dependent on the situation.

We are not liable to any illegal conduct or actions against the law of the Republic of Indonesia.
